Marketing Manager (Demand and Content)

Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated Marketing Manager to join our marketplace team in the London office. You will be a highly visible contributor who will manage the campaigns that generate and nurture sales leads.


You'll be joining an experienced, highly collaborative, fast-moving team that gets the job done. 


The ideal candidate is a creative, critical-thinker with an understanding and proven track record in email marketing, content marketing, digital advertising and multi-channel demand generation campaigns.


As the Marketing Manager, you will be executing world-class integrated campaigns to scale our marketing reach and partner with our sales team to drive pipeline and revenue.


  • Develop, execute and optimise the demand generation strategy (including marketing automation platform) to scale our marketing reach, drive pipeline for Sales and achieve company revenue goals

  • Manage campaign planning and content to determine targeting and messaging to drive new leads, nurture existing leads and grow demand from existing customers

  • Qualifying new leads for the Sales team via both telephone and email communication

  • Own the execution and measurement of campaigns and their contribution to sales and revenue goals (both for new and existing revenue)

  • Work content partners to prepare content including white papers, webinars, blogs and manage distribution

  • Partner with Sales team to develop campaign follow-up processes, refine playbooks and identify ways to improve go-to-market collaboration.

  • Develop Account Based Marketing strategies to expand and grow existing accounts

  • Build, monitor and measure reports and dashboards for campaign performance against leads, opportunities and revenue to identify campaign optimisations

  • Manage relationships with PPC and SEO agency ensuring their delivery against KPIs

  • Manage relationships with our external PPC and SEO agency to ensure that we have a clear strategy, roadmap and backlog. Tactically, that the roadmap is executed on by managing both external and internal resource and budget as well as other stakeholders

  • To advocate internally and ensure expectations are managed inline with the agency recommendations.

  • You would also be responsible for checking monthly reporting is accurate and correct and then shared at a high level with the wider business to update on progress.

  • Own the budget and plan for all demand generation activities

Requirements


  • 3+ years experience in B2B demand generation and content marketing

  • Creative, critical-thinker with an understanding and proven track record in email marketing, content marketing, digital advertising and multi-channel demand generation campaigns.

  • Experience with set-up and optimization of marketing automation platforms (hubspot experience desired)

  • Experience working as a true partner with Sales to deliver shared goals

  • Very strong content writing skills

  • Planning, tracking and reporting campaign performance

  • Keen Sales acumen
