The role:

We are looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to act as the liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.

To be successful in the Business Development Representative (BDR) role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns, cold calling and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers from first contact until you pass on the qualified opportunity to the Business Development Manager who you will work closely with.

The Business Development Representative (BDR) will qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities and contact potential clients through cold calls to present our company to potential clients.

The Business Development Representative (BDR) will identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services, customizing product solutions to increase customer satisfaction and build long-term trusting relationships with clients

As Business Development Representative (BDR) you will proactively seek new business opportunities in the market, set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Business Development Managers and report to the Sales Director on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results, staying up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans.


  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative or Sales Development Respresentative working the first stage of the sales funnel
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques, especially cold calls
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Experience with CRM software
  • Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations over the phone and through the web
  • BSc degree
